Ypsomed and CamDiab launch mylife Loop on iOS

Ypsomed, together with CamDiab, is launching the iOS version for the mylife CamAPS FX app, which is part of the automated insulin delivery system (AID) mylife Loop.
This allows people with type 1 diabetes to easily and discreetly manage mylife Loop on their iPhones.

New NHS funding for hybrid closed-loop roll-out released |

NHS England is set to invest £59.5 million in the second year of the national hybrid closed-loop roll-out.
In 2024, NHS England introduced the
Hybrid Closed-Loop (HCL) 5-Year Implementation Strategy
— a world-first initiative that has already provided approximately 12,000 people living with type 1 diabetes with access to this life-changing technology.

New diabetes technology survey launched |

Diabetes specialist nurses are being asked to complete a survey related to hybrid closed-loop (HCL) systems and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM).
The DSN Forum UK has launched the survey to assess nurses’ confidence, knowledge and ability to manage people living with diabetes who are using a CGM device or HCL system.

Professor Melanie Davies CBE has been chosen to receive a 2025 National Scientific and Health Care Achievement Award from the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
She will receive the 2025 Outstanding Achievement in Clinical Diabetes Research Award, which recognises exceptional contributions in patient-oriented clinical outcomes research that have had a significant impact on diabetes prevention and treatment.
